This is no counter-top oven, it’s a four thousand pound legit wood-burning beast.
Chef Michael (of Workshop Kitchen + Bar) began this journey with a wild yeast starter named “Hugo” back in 2020, and that same starter fuels every hand-stretched pie today. Our dough is made simply — just organic “00” flour, water, salt, and starter—and cold-fermented for up to four days to develop rich flavor and exceptional texture. Inspired by Chef’s roots in France, Germany, and Switzerland, our pizzas follow a Cal-Ital philosophy: seasonal, ingredient-driven, and packed with house-made ferments and salumi.
THE DEAL
We provide a tasteful buffet setup with your selected pizzas sliced and served under modern heat lamps, refreshed continuously for up to two hours. Our service includes tables, linens, florals, bamboo plates and cutlery, cocktail napkins, custom menus, signage, staff, and cleanup.
Our oven and trailer require a 10'x15' outdoor space, with an additional 10'x10' for our work tent. Buffet setup is placed beside the oven for efficiency, but can be relocated for $40/hr per staff member.
A $1,000 event minimum applies, plus tax, fees, and gratuity.
THE FINE PRINT
Menu costs are per person and based on a subtotal prior to tax, surcharge (4%), admin fee (4%) and gratuity (18%). Beverage offerings are charged additionally and are not included in food catering menu cost per person. Workshop Kitchen & Bar (parent company) requires a 50% deposit in order to complete the booking confirmation of all off-site events. The remaining balance due is due no later than the end of service the night or day or your event.
Rental fees if applicable will be presented to the client for approval. A 20% coordination fee is charged by Workshop Kitchen & Bar, but the rentals are othewise presented at cost.
Final guest count is guaranteed at least one week prior to the event. The client is responsible for this guest count whether the party lowers in size or remains the same.
